FORSKOHLIN ENCAPSULATED IN NANO-LPD'S
FORSKOHLIN ( Coleus Forskohlii )
This unique species of roots from Sri Lanka, known as Purple
Tears of Coleus Forskohlii (Forskohlin) was discovered by
the renowned finnish botanist H. Forskål. It has been used
since antiquity in Hindu and Ayurvedic traditional medicine
for different treatments. It is harvested once a year, in autumn,
a period of generation and maximum concentration of this select
ingredient.
The basis of Forskohlin action is the activation of an enzyme,
the Adenylyl Cyclase, which increases cAMP in cells. CAMP
is perhaps the most important cell regulating compound of the
energy metabolism. Once formed, activates many other enzymes
involved in various energy consumption functions primarily at
cellular level.
The most important activity is the lipolytic one. Lipolysis,
name of the breakdown of the process of fat storage is regulated
by cAMP. The Forskohlin has proved to stimulate lipolysis as
well as the inhibition of Adenosine and thus preventing the synthesis
of fat in the adipocytes.
The Forskohlin (standardized concentrated of Coleus Forskohlii
root) showed under clinical application to be useful in monitoring
programs for weight loss, cellulite treatments and certain malfunctions
associated with obesity.
FORSKOHLIN ENCAPSULATED IN NANO-LPD'S:
For Hialurox Body Treatment the studies have focused on developing
Bio-high-tech that incorporates Forskohlin active ingredient in
Nano LPD's for increased effectiveness.
Nano LPD's consists mainly in spheres composed of natural phospholipids.
These phospholipids are organized enabling integration within
their structure of active ingredients.
Through the technology we have developed with the help of the
Hialurox cold laser technology, we managed to discriminate the
size of particle to diameters of less than 250 nanometers.
The main advantages we can obtain with the use of Nano LPD's are:
- They are natural delivery systems of active ingredients.
- Are selective and controlled transportation systems.
- Increase the effectiveness of the active ingredients and decrease
undesired effects (toxicity).
- Through studies in the Department of Tensoactives in Barcelona
CSIC (Spain), Dr. A. De La Maza has demonstrated the effectiveness
of the Nano LPD's and their ability to penetrate the stratum
corneum.
Applying Nano LPD's to active ingredients we get the following
benefits:
- Extension of the bioavailability of the active ingredient.
- Better absorption, penetration and diffusion of the active
ingredient.
- Stabilization of the active ingredient.
LEGACTIF
Complex of three plant active ingredients that improves blood
circulation. This stimulating and draining complex becomes an
ideal complement to resolve circulatory problems and tired legs
syndrome.
THEOPHYLLISILANE
It is obtained by synthesis derived from the extraction of the
Indian Ocean Black Algae, this active ingredient has a high lipolytic
and firming activity and a high efficiency restructuring tissues.
GLAUCINA
Elastase-producing molecule from the Glaucium Flavum plant that
inhibites the generation of superoxide.
