The concept. How does DHA Spray Tanning work?
Sunless Tanning is a 100% natural tanning system without sunrays or UVA rays, which makes it possible to achieve an immediate tan no risks, in one session of just 6 minutes.
The application is carried out in a beauty centre or salon, by DHA misting on the skin with a compressor or turbine kit, without the need for a cabin.
The tan is immediately noticeable after the misting, and increases in intensity over the following hours, reaching its peak in 24 hours.
The active ingredient, DHA or Dihydroxyacetone, is a 100% natural colourless by-product of sugar cane which generates a natural and immediate darkening or tanning reaction when it comes into contact with the proteins in the skin. This is why it is also popularly referred to as sugar-cane tanning.
As it reacts on the stratum corneum, the outermost part of the epidermis, the DHA does not penetrate into the skin, thereby preventing the risk of allergic reactions. It is important to note that melanin is not involved in this process. The 90š wide-angle misting gun with a double head makes the process easier and reduces the cost of the product, as well as the time of the session (5 min. application and 1 min. drying). It is self-cleaning, without the need for disassembly, and incorporates a high-capacity deposit.
SUNLESS is not a dye or a pigment, so everyone achieves their natural tan, without any orangey streaks.
Skin regenerates completely every 28 days, and the superficial layers of the skin (which account for almost 25%) are exfoliated and renewed naturally every 7-10 days. This explains why this type of tanning lasts between 7 and 10 days, depending on the moisturising and care applied.
The tan will not disappear in the shower.
Like a natural tan, it will lose its intensity gradually with the natural flaking of the skin's stratum corneum, disappearing after about a week.
